Football and water polo clubs of Partizan won national titles; the basketball team did not manage to qualify for the final of the Adriatic League for the 6th time in a row. The football club Partizan has defended the national title in Cacak, after defeating the home team of Borac with 4:0. Three rounds before the end of the championship, the “black and whites” have 12 points advantage over their only contestants, the Red Star. That way, Partizan has broken their own record and won the 5th national title in a row, while Borac has suffered the 16th defeat this season, so being in the next to last position in the general ranks, they are just one step from leaving the Serbian Superleague. In other matches of the latest round, the following matches were achieved: BSK - Rad 1:0, Radnicki - OFK Belgrade 1:1, Metalac - Sloboda 0:1, Novi Pazar - Hajduk 2:1, Smederevo - Vojvodina 2:0, Javor - Spartak 1:0 and Red Star - Jagodina 1:0.

The water polo club Partizan has also won the title of national champions by defeating the Red Star in the second leg of the final match, with the result 9:8. In the first duel, Partizan also triumphed with the advantage of one goal – 6:5. After this, the “black and whites” have won the 6th title in a row, which also happens to be their 25th national title in total.

The defeat of Cedevita, with the result 68:56, has ended the domination of the basketball club Partizan in the regional Adriatic League. After five titles in succession, the “black and whites” played badly in the semi-final match of the Final Four tournament in Tel Aviv, on Saturday, so after half a decade, the Adriatic League will have new champions. In the final match, Cedevita will face the home team of Maccabi, which had bested Buducnost with 82:60.

Serbian tennis players Dusan Lajovic and Marko Djokovic have started today in the ATP tournament Serbia Open in Belgrade. In the first round, Lajovic met Russian player Evgeni Donskoi, while the rival of Marko Djokovic is Italian Filipo Volandri. Also appearing on the court is Ilija Bozoljac, as in the last round of the qualifications for the main bracket he will oppose Slovenian player Aljaz Bedene.
