Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed to the newly elected President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolic, that Russia is prepared to grant Serbia a loan worth 800 million dollars. In talks with Nikolic at the United Russia congress, Putin said that the loan funds should be used for the implementation of infrastructure projects in Serbia. The final realization of the loan depends on the technical documentation that Serbia should prepare for these projects, Putin added.
