Easter has been marked in temples and churches in Kosovo and Metohija. Ras-Prizren Bishop Teodosije served the liturgy in the Church of St. Demetrius in Kosovska Mitrovica. Teodosije read the Easter Epistle of Patriarch Irinej. The service was also attended by Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanovic. About 100 believers visited the temple of St. Sava in the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, which was destroyed during the March 2004 violence. Accompanied by the Kosovo police, Serbs came on two buses from the northern to the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica and returned after the short service was held there in the Temple of St. Sava.
