In the past ten years, some 37 billion euros have been invested in Serbia, but in the forthcoming period Serbia must turn to national sources in project financing and private companies should have the same treatement as others, the general manager of Energoprojekt holding, Vladimir Milovanović, said. The future governmetn should promote Serbia as a market with favourable work conditions and to subsidize only the projects with long-term prospects and new work positions, he said at the Vivaldi forum, in Mokra Gora, western Serbia. The priorities should be greenfield investmetns as they open new work positions, he emphasized. The state is till the biggest investor in Serbia, but the same time the most illiquid one and new jobs can be created only if there are income increase plans, said Milovanović.
